In some cases, they are offering the web installer (one of the larger websites files are the Spanish version), which requires you to download. Many websites offer Windows Movie Maker, but in reality, the download is the full Windows Live Essentials.That being said, we've done all of our usual testings and can't find any malware, viruses, running services, or startup entries that typically show a problem. The downside to installing Windows Movie Maker in Live Essentials is that you also have to install Photo Gallery. If you're not sure, download Windows Live Essentials from MajorGeeks and install only Movie Maker and Photo Gallery. Windows Defender allowed the installation.
